For years, manufacturers in the United States
used asbestos fibers in such products as automobile brake linings, brake pads, adhesives, caulking, cement pipes, cement boards, electrical products, floor tiles, gaskets, paints, household products, pipe covering, roof shingles, siding, textiles, and wallboard. If you ever used any of these products, then you may have been exposed to asbestos. Unfortunately, asbestos is a very dangerous product and hazardous to your health.
Unfortunately, many employers failed to warn their employees of the dangers of asbestos-containing products or even provide their employees with a mask or respirator to help protect the employee from inhaling asbestos fibers.
